Welcome to the Macaws' home page!
In Macaw class we are focusing on becoming independent learners and getting ready to fly to the Juniors! We are starting to organise ourselves and take pride in our achievements across all curriculum areas. We take great pleasure in being creative and never miss an opportunity to get a little messy, explore our fascinating world and learn about ourselves. We love the challenges Year 2 brings and always strive for the best learning opportunities. We use Kagan cooperative learning structures to work as a successful and happy team.

Tuesday 12 May 2026 Macaws' trip to Kenwood House Our trip to Kenwood House was full of adventure and plenty of hands-on fun! We began by exploring the beautiful grounds, where we were amazed by the bright and colourful rhododendrons blooming around us. We also visited the Dairy and enjoyed sketching the stunning house while eating our lunch under the shade of a tree.

Friday 7 November 2025 Macaws’ Wonderful Day at Shrek’s Adventure! The Macaws had an incredible day on their recent visit to Shrek's Adventure in London! From the moment they arrived, the children were whisked away into a world of imagination, laughter, and fairy-tale magic. They were thrilled to meet some of their favourite characters and discover how stories come to life through exciting adventures, colourful scenes, and memorable heroes and villains.
