Macaws' CRICK Workshop
The class had a fantastic time during a workshop led by a scientist from the Francis Crick Institute. She taught us all about how incredibly tiny bacteria are and amazed us with some fascinating facts. Then came the best part — she brought mini microscopes for us to explore with around the classroom! We investigated the carpet, the class plants, our jumper sleeves and even some children’s hair to see what we could discover up close. There were lots of squeals, giggles and surprised faces as we uncovered a whole new microscopic world. Safe to say, the classroom had never looked so hairy, dusty and exciting before!
