Flamingoes (Y3)
Welcome to the Flamingoes' home page!
In Flamingos, we are seven and eight years old and are at the start of the Juniors! In our class, we are always excited about learning new things in every subject. We love going on trips or having exciting visitors. We also love to use singing, drama and art to bring the curriculum alive. We enjoy the challenge of the Key Stage 2 Curriculum and use cooperative learning to help us work as a team. We always try our best to be good friends to each other and make the Flamingos classroom a happy place to be!

Thursday 26 March 2026 London Zoo Trip Our recent trip to London Zoo was a fantastic and enriching experience for all involved. Students had the opportunity to explore a wide variety of animal enclosures, gaining a deeper understanding of wildlife from around the world. A highlight of the visit was the immersive rainforest section, where we encountered fascinating species in a vibrant, tropical environment. We also attended an engaging and informative talk about tigers, learning about their habitats, behaviours, and the importance of conservation. Throughout the day, students showed great curiosity and enthusiasm, asking thoughtful questions and taking in a wealth of new knowledge. It was a memorable trip!
