Flamingos STEAM Week

This week, we enjoyed a fantastic STEAM Week with the exciting theme, “Climate Change: All Change!”

The children worked incredibly hard throughout the week, using their creativity, teamwork and problem-solving skills to design innovative Rest and Recuperation Centres for the future. Their challenge was set in the year 2126, where extreme weather conditions had transformed Hampstead Heath into a desert landscape.

Pupils explored the impact of climate change and thought carefully about how people might live, rest and recover in such challenging environments. They produced a wonderful range of imaginative ideas, detailed designs and impressive models, showcasing both their creativity and their understanding of sustainability and environmental change.
