Kingfishers October Gallery Workshop 2026
Today, we participated in an art workshop exploring the work of artist Zana Masombuka and the theme of being a hero within our community. We looked at how art can be used to celebrate identify, individuality and the positive contributions people make to the world around them. Taking inspiration from the artist, we used printing techniques to create self-portraits, imagining ourselves as heroes in the local community. We finished our artwork by adding a variety of mixed-media materials to decorate the surrounding areas.
