Toucans Trip to Kenwood House

Today, the children enjoyed an exciting trip to Kenwood House, where they stepped back in time to discover what life was like in the Georgian era.

During a fascinating tour around the house, the children learnt about Lord and Lady Mansfield, as well as Dido Belle and the important role she played within the household. The children then became servants for the day, taking part in hands-on activities such as preparing spices, making butter, and polishing silverware. To finish their experience, they proudly presented dinner to Lord and Lady Mansfield!

It was a fantastic day full of history, teamwork, and lots of fun - we definitely have some future butlers and housekeepers in our class!
