Year 6 engaged with the vitally important subject of road safety. The workshop explored the dangers of the roads and the impact that road accidents have on everyone involved. Children explored different aspects of keeping safe on the roads through drama whereby they investigated a pedestrian accident.

Year 6 learnt many valuable tips to keep safe on the road including: look and be seen, concentrate and use your senses and don’t rush, look for another bus!

The students came away from the workshop with necessary knowledge and skills to identify, understand and manage risk as a pedestrian.

What an important workshop you have had. As Londoners, we are always near busy roads so we need to be super aware of how to be safe on the roads.
