In the Nursery we are inspired by the world around us and are fascinated by things we discover each day! After reviewing the shapes we are familiar with and practising tracing them inside we had a great idea to find them outside!
We took our shapes sheet, chose our favourite coloured pencil and went on a Shapes Scavenger Hunt! We found shapes drawn with intention and shapes in our play equipment! After each shape we found, we coloured it in on our paper. It was a very busy afternooon!
What shapes can you find in your community? If you look close enough, you will find shapes everywhere!
