Flamingo class had a fantastic time visiting the House of Illustration in Kings Cross!

Pupils had the opportunity to observe a variety of illustrations and art pieces and create replicas in their sketch books. After this we took some time to wander around the Quentin Blake gallery which we found VERY impressive. The original water colour illustrations were so beautiful. We finished our trip with the main event… Our illustration workshop. Pupils created mood and atmosphere, focusing on the weather and scenery, using a variety of art resources! A huge thank you to our wonderful parents who came to help out and participate!

Take a look at our happy bunch of artists in the making…
