Today, we had our final Marvellous Maths Morning in Year 3.
We learnt how to play “Naughty or Nice” which is a fabulous game to practise our column addition, reasoning and problem solving skills.
To play, you take it in turns to roll a 0-9 dice. You can choose whether to place the number you have rolled in your column addition or your partner’s. The aim is to get the highest total so you have to think strategically about which column to place the number in order to get the highest value.
We had a great time playing with our parents and carers!
