This week we are learning about different types of Poetry in Literacy. We started the week off by looking at performance poetry and had a go at reciting the poem ‘Where Teachers Keep Their Pets’ by Paul Cookson. We discussed how we might change the tone or speed of our voices for effect. After that, we practised lines with our Kagan partners and then performed it as a class! Some of us came up with actions to help us remember the rhythm and words!
