Year 6 began their day feeling refreshed after a good night of rest and enjoyed an early breakfast together as a group. We headed to our Abseiling, Archery and Catch the Flag activities which kept us very busy until lunch time. Abseiling was a thrilling adventure, bringing out our daring sides. We learned a lot about how to keep ourselves and our friends safe and how to encourage those who felt uneasy about heights. Archery revealed some hidden talents and many children were surprised with their capabilities. Catch the flag was very high energy and required a lot of teamwork – the perfect way to work up an appetite for a yummy lunch.
