Today, we had our second Marvellous Maths Morning.
We learnt how to play “Down to Zero” which is a fabulous game to practise our mental subtraction, knowledge of multiples and problem solving skills.
To play, you take it in turns to subtract a single-digit number starting from 50. If your answer lands on an odd number, you win 1 point. If you land on a multiple of 10, you win 2 points. And if you land on a multiple of 3, you win 3 points. If, on your turn, you land on 0, you win 5 points and the game ends.
We had a great time playing with our parents and carers!
