Just before we broke up for our wonderful half term holidays something VERY exciting happened in Lorikeet class. It was our class assembly! And it was pretty spectacular…..

No matter how many times we had rehearsed we all had those nervous butterflies in our tummies, especially when all the other children came in to sit down. However these passed when we saw just how many mummies, daddies, grandparents and other family members had come out to support us.

There was not a single seat left in the whole hall!

If you weren’t lucky enough to catch our assembly you probably want to know what it was all about…. What we want to be when we grow up. We had all prepared our lines and wonderful pictures for the audience to see.

Each and every one of us was now ready to go…

Our narrators gave a little background to the inspiration behind our assembly.

Then we all took turns telling everyone our dream jobs in the future…. there is quite a range in Lorikeet class.

From priests

to vets and zoo workers…

to teachers…

P1410630

to those who want to work in the food industry….

P1410633

to those who want to help….

and even some sportsmen.

Finally we sung a fantastic song all about being 64, but that’s a long way off for us!

EVERYONE was so impressed with us and we received a HUGE round of applause

If you came to our class assembly we really hope you enjoyed it, and if not we hope you enjoyed catching up here.

Don’t forget to leave us a comment and tell us what you think as we love looking at them in class!
