On Friday, Eagles visited Churchill War Rooms as part of their learning on World War 2. It was very exciting trip as they got to see the actual rooms were Churchill took command of Britain. We took a moment when we were there to imagine Churchill and his Cabinet pouring over maps and deciding where to send the troops and how the fates of many thousands of lives were decided in those rooms.

Afterwards, we had time for some sightseeing. We walked up to Trafalgar Square and  saw the horseguards parade (with two regiments in different uniforms) and walked to Parliament Square to see Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament and then we went to wave at the PM at the gates at Downing Street. We even spotted the Treasury and the Foreign Office.
