On Tuesday night our Boys and Girls Football Teams got off to flying starts down at Castlehaven Sports Fields, notching up 3 wins from our 4 matches. The Girls Team, led by Coach Terri, started a little slow but were eventually able to work their way back into their last game against Kentish Town winning 3-0. Sinead, Madison and Freya were solid down back providing plenty of rebound and return for our forwards who capitalised on their opportunities when they arose. Aimee was brilliant throughout, using her strength to break tackles and gain control at crucial times.

The Boys Team started nervously in their first match but eventually found their groove outplaying St.Pauls all over the pitch to take a  1-0 victory off the boot of Charles. Ezekiel and Danny were outstanding showing their experience as they calmly and confidently used the ball in high pressure situations. The second match was another story as they dismantled their opposition to prevail with a 6-0 victory. Sean, Ivan and Charles were again solid, working tirelessly as they outclassed their opponents.  Archie M was exceptional in goals throughout both games and walked away from the evening with a faultless clean sheet. Archie was calm under the pressure and made some top class saves throughout the 2 games.

Well done to all our players, there were some very exciting performances across the park. We look forward to our next challenge.
