Learning about the Old Testament
Today, Father Nicholas visited us to introduce our new focus in R.E this term which is the Bible. He told us the Creation story and answered the children’s questions. In our following R.E lessons we will be looking at the stories of Abraham and Moses in the Old Testament.
I enjoyed father Nichola’s visit because we learnt about how because God created the earth there was only room for him on earth not for the devil.
I really enjoyed it when Father Nicolas told us the story of Adam and Eve and I got to ask lots of questions too
i also liked how he talked in more detail about mankinds betrayal to him in the Garden of Eden and about how pretty much the rest of the Old Testement was God bringing back mankind.
I enjoyed it when Father Nicholas came in because he taught me something new
I agree with Jayla- it was good we got to ask lots of questions at the end.
I liked father Nicholas visit because I learnt something new about Adam and Eve.
I also liked someone’s thought about how God made the snake the evil in the world because a snake is on the floor so closer to Hell than humans.
