The Chicks were very excited today because they have been given the amazing job of looking after their very own class pet! It is a tortoise who is two and a half years old and needed a new home, so we made space in our classroom.
Our tortoise came with a special home that has plenty of room and a cosy bedroom.
To make the home even more cosy we are asking families to donate some little plants.
The children took turns to look at and talk to our new friend.
They all practised using their kind words and kind hands. Good job Chicks!
