We were so lucky to be visited by the Olympian, Jo Mersh! She gave us an inspiring assembly, during which she explained her story. We learned that sometimes we have to try really hard to achieve our dreams, but if we are determined and are the best we can be, we will succeed!
Macaaws loved asking Jo Mersh some questions in our own class, and she even let us hold some of her trophies! We had a fantastic day where we learned that we can all achieve our goals if we just keep trying.
