On Thursday 19th May – after two weeks of campaigning, a media frenzy and general election fever sweeping across the playground – it was Tie Election Day!
A dedicated group of Polling Officers and Scrutineers (or “poll watchers”) visited every classroom with the Secret Ballot Box. Every child and adult in the school was given the opportunity to vote by marking their secret ballot paper and placing it in the box.
Once all the votes were in (including some by proxy) the votes were counted and verified by a number of official adjudicators. We can now reveal the results…
