What a busy week we have had! We have been super busy preparing for our class Nativity ‘Donkey for Sale’, but take a look at some of our other activities.

On Tuesday, a visitor appeared and gave us a gift! So far our elf has been in isolation, but we can’t wait to see what he gets up to next week!

In RE, we have been preparing and learning about the importance of Advent. We made Advent Wreath headbands to celebrate the meaning of the candles, we wrote an Advent promise & we created a story map of the things we are going to do in the lead up to  Christmas Day.

In Numeracy, we have been learning about numbers up to 10 and 20. We have been ordering numbers, counting forwards and backwards, writing numbers in words and counting pictorial representations. We even decorated outside our classroom with some rockets to help us practise ordering numbers backwards.

In Literacy, we continued with our story ‘The Proudest Blue’. We thought about the emotional journey of the characters, discussed what advice we would give Faizah & we wrote letters to Faizah too.

Well done Lorikeets! 🙂

I do enjoy looking at the work Sami is doing in class as often he seems to forget what he has made or why he has made it e.g. the wreath head bands.
