Today the students in year 5 and 6 were lucky to have a visit from Father Oliver. We explored the elements of the mass. Father Oliver introduced us to new vocabulary such as epiclesis, consecration and alb. Father Oliver’s teachings we help us with this term’s RE topic ‘Exploring the Mass’.
It was fun learning new terms that happen in the church . I must say,I’ve come back from that discussion and learnt new and interesting vocabulary! I also learnt some things that I’ve never actually thought and paid attention in church .
