This week has been a busy week for the Toucans! We have got into full swing of Nativity rehearsals and can’t wait to record next week.
In Numeracy this week we have been learning about money. We have learnt about the coins and notes in our currency and their values.
In R.E this week we have learnt about Advent. We made advent wreaths and wrote an Advent promise!
We have continued to read our class book ‘The Proudest Blue’. We wrote a poem about what different colours meant to us and discussed the feelings of the different characters.
Next week we are going to write a letter to one of the characters- make sure you look out for some of our writing in next weeks post!
In Science we have continued to learn all about the properties of materials. We played a fun game where a few children had to guess the material on their post-it note from the class describing all that materials properties! We all did really well and managed to get them all correct!
