Soaring, gliding and swooping are words we used to describe eagles, and also words we felt could describe some of our class’ characteristics:
Soaring – to reach for challenges.
Gliding – working through problems smoothly as a team.
Swooping – to focus in on our targets and goals.
Eagles try to work hard in all areas of school life. We really enjoy maths challenges and problem solving, as well as science investigations. We also enjoy developing our skills and talents in music and sport. We love to take part in workshops, welcome interesting visitors and go on exciting trips across London. Teamwork is important to us and we try to create a safe and supportive learning environment for everyone. We also really enjoy raising money for charities and doing what we can for others. We do all of this while remembering our school mission statement of ‘Building God’s Family of Loving and Learning’.
