As part of our topic on Ancient Greece, we visited the British Museum to explore its incredible collection of Ancient Greek artefacts. We followed a trail that guided us through the galleries, helping us discover treasures from different periods of Greek civilisation, including the Minoans, Mycenaeans, and the world of Alexander the Great. We were prompted to spot precious objects and ancient tools, identify animals and patterns on pottery and copy the poses of statues and friezes. The experience brought Ancient Greece to life and helped deepen our understanding through exploration, observation and storytelling.
