The Lorikeets had a truly magical day on their recent trip to Shrek’s Adventure in London! From the moment they stepped inside, the children were transported into the world of fairy tales and fantasy. They loved meeting some of their favourite characters and learning how stories are brought to life through exciting twists, colourful settings, and unforgettable heroes and villains.
Throughout the day, the children explored what makes a great story — discussing the beginning, middle and end, as well as how characters grow and change along their journeys. It was a brilliant opportunity to link their learning about storytelling and character development with a fun, immersive experience.
After their adventure, the Lorikeets enjoyed a lovely lunch beside the London Eye, taking in the amazing views of the River Thames and the city skyline. The children were full of smiles, laughter, and excitement as they chatted about their favourite parts of the day on the journey home.
It was a wonderful trip full of learning, laughter, and fairy-tale fun — one the Lorikeets won’t forget in a hurry!
