Rosary Sings … An International Songbook
Please ask a family member at home or a relative that lives far away to share with you a song from your family’s history. It can be English, Irish, French, Chinese, Portuguese… the possibilities are endless. These songs will be entered into a songbook that will celebrate the cultural diversity of our extended Rosary family through traditional songs passed down through the generations.
I hope you enjoy discovering the traditional music of your family’s past! Please try to bring in words and know the tune so you can teach it to your friends in a small group in music class the week after next (you have TWO weeks to collect and learn your song).
If you might find it hard to remember the tune, you can ask your parents/carers to help you send a sound clip or video to my email address.
