We had a wonderful afternoon in the sunshine today drawing the plants and flowers growing on the cut through to Pond Street from Haverstock Hill. There are many layered beds filled with beautiful plants opposite a meadow of bluebells and other flowers and trees. We had so much fun exploring the different variations and looking closely at the detail of their structure to capture them in our line drawings. We are doing this as observational practice ahead of making different objects out of plasticine and foam to ink print natural forms later in half term.
