We have been exploring poetry over the last few literacy lessons, and today Macaws finished their class poem about emotions using rhyme!
When I feel

When I feel calm and cool
It’s like floating on water
Then I swim in a swimming pool
And I hug my daughter
When I feel crushed and sad
It’s like bowing down
But then I tell my Dad
And I feel calm now
When I feel full of joy
It’s an exciting place to be
And I play with my toys
And I am happy and free
When I feel worried and scared
It’s like a terrifying nightmare
But then I play four square
And can breathe out air
