Today we finally met THE BIRD MAN!! He also calls himself Alan! He came all the way from Eagle Heights in Kent. We welcomed him to our school and told him that we have just renamed all our classes after birds. He wowed us with his incredible knowledge of the birds he brought in to see us, including a barn owl, a peregrine falcon, a hawk and even a bald eagle! They flew right over our heads, walked among us, ate their food, hopped about on the stage and a few even made a mess on the floor! Lots of us then had our photos taken with the birds and it was amazing to get so close to these wonderful creatures. What an exciting day at Rosary Catholic School!
