In Reception, we have been creating our own clay tiles with Pedro the Potter! Firstly, we had to roll out the clay so that it was nice and flat. We had to measure it against two guards to make sure that it wasn’t too fat or too thin. Then we used real leaves that we had collected to print onto the clay. It made a beautiful pattern! The tiles were then fired so they would harden and we painted them. It was such a fun experience!
