In the February Half Term, we would like the Year 3 and 4 children to make their own instruments out of recycled materials (junk percussion), inspired by traditional instruments of the Amazon.  Amazonian tribes make musical instruments out of the natural raw materials in their habitats, such as seed pods, bamboo canes, clay, animal hides, hollowed-out dried vegetables or thin tree trunks. But all you’ll need is some junk!

What can you find in your recycling bin? You could try to make…….

PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU HAVE ADULT SUPERVISION WHILST USING SCISSORS OR WORKING WITH SHARP PLASTIC.  PLEASE AVOID USING ANY KIND OF METAL CANS OR WIRE.
