As part of our learning on Black History Month we looked at wonderful inventions from black inventors and had the challenge to create a poster advertising some of these amazing inventions. Not surprisingly, the refrigerated truck, invented by Frederick McKinley Hones, was the most popular invention. Many of were also keen to advertise the three way traffic light, invented by Garrett Morgan, which some of us commented has likely saved many lives since it’s creation.
