We visited Hampstead Heath this week to learn more about plants (our Science topic is ‘We’re Buzzing’)!

We found lots of different plants (including bluebells, daisies and buttercups) and ticked them off of our worksheet. We discussed the function of different parts of plants.

Despite such unpredictable weather this week, the sun shone for our trip! We even managed to spot some bees! We were taught all about why they are so important for our environment and why we must try to keep the safe.
It was SO lovely to be able to have an outdoor visit as a class. Hopefully we can do the same again soon!

A huge thank you to Laura for organising our activities and teaching us more about plants.
