In the Snowy Owls class this week, we have been developing our understanding of our current Catholic Social Teaching Theme: Dignity and Rights of Workers.

We discussed what the word dignity meant and then thought about how this applies to workers both close to home and far away.

On our autumnal leaves, we wrote ‘I can show dignity by…’

We came up with lots of different responses to how we can show dignity to workers, including: saying thank you to shop workers, cleaning up after ourselves in cafes and restaurants, shopping in charity shops and simply raising awareness for workers around the world who are working in unjust conditions.

Our beautiful leaves were then displayed on our Catholic Social Teaching board.

How can you show dignity and rights to workers?
