Today we went back to Victorian times. All UKS2, were fully emersed in life at a Victorian school. We started our day, with an introduction to the strict set of school rules and (dare I say it) the punishments! The children then carried out some typical victorian lessons: dictation, arithmetic, handwriting and still-life drawing. All lessons were carried out without any use of electircity and children had to rely on candle light to see their work! What was your favourite part of Victorian day?
