Toucans visited Kew Gardens this morning and had so much fun. Despite the weather, the trip was such a success and we all learnt so much about amazing tropical plants. We visited the Palm House, which was just like being in a tropical rainforest! After that we walked over to the Princess of Wales Conservatory, which was full to the brim of cactuses, more tropital plants, and even coco plants. We had our workshop later in the day where we learn some fascinating facts- Did you know some cactus plants camouflage themselves to look just like rocks?!
