Toucans had a fantastic day out on Friday. We took part in a workshop on Adaptation and spent the rest of the day exploring the aquarium. We really enjoyed naming some of the fish we knew and learning about ones we didn’t. Some of us were even brave enough to get up close with a starfish!

I loved looking at the stingray and it was really scary when the glass was on the floor and the sharks were under it. And I loved touching the star fish, they were so squishy.

    Polar bears are extraordinary!
Did you know polar bears are not white? Their skin is actually black, and their warm fur is transparent and reflects the white of the snow.

I loved looking at the television thing and it was so funny because on the screen it looked like I was touching the polar bear. And when the orca jumped into the water, it accidentally splashed me and the other children. And after we ate our lunch, it was so funny, because we went to this man who put costumes on Joseph and Olivia B. And I loved looking at the tiger shark teeth. And it was so so so so so so so so so so fun. And it was so scary when we saw the jinormous spider.

We went into a rain forest thing and it was so scary because we saw snake and we went to a river thing and it was covered in glass and there was a crocodile in it. It was swimming to us, it was so scary, I thought it was going to break the glass and eat us.

I really wish our oceans were clean without any plastic in the oceans so the fish will be so the fish will feel good.Sealife is really good for underwater creatures even the starfish.

  26. I had so much fun walking across the sea creatures glass. It was
brilliant because they had lots of sharks which are my favourite sea
creatures but I like lots of the sea creatures they were beautiful and amazing. The starfish were so squishy they felt kind of funny. I’ve never seen real starfish before. I liked the cave which we went under and we saw the little windows so we could see the sea. I wish I saw a comb jelly there. I like the sea creatures they are fascinating. The starfish were interesting. I wonder why they were squashy. What a day it was, but it was so sunny it’s like burning.
