We have been enjoying the story of the Very Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle. The story explains how a tiny egg can become a beautiful butterfly.
The chicks were curious to find out how a caterpillar changes into a butterfly. So…. we have been very lucky and received some of our very own caterpillars to observe in class.
It will take approximately 2 weeks for our caterpillars to complete their metamorphosis into butterflies…we are SO excited to see what will happen!
One of our Chicks noticed that Miss Miles had a butterfly blouse on today too!
