We had such a fun Spanish Day today!

In the morning, we learnt about hispanic festivals including Las Fallas, La Tomatina and Dia de los Muertos. Did you know, there is a festival in Spain called El Colacho where citizens of the town dress up as devils and jump over new-born babies! Then, we made salsa, guacamole and magdalenas. After lunch, we explored flamenco music and practised some different rhythms using body percussion. Finally, we learnt about Mexican art and created our own self-portraits in the style of Frida Kahlo.
