2 weeks ago the Snowy Owls  were lucky enough to visit the Education Centre at the Crick Institute in Kings Cross. In the morning session they put on their lab coats for a chemistry session and participated in some hands on science experiments. In small groups they explored Chemical reactions between substances and learnt about reversible and irreversible change.

In the afternoon they took part in an electricity workshop where they created simple and complex circuits.

Here are some photos from their day in the Science Lab.

I am so jealous, Snowy Owls! I didn’t get to do Chemistry sessions like this until I was at secondary school! What a fantastic opportunity. You all look so professional in your lab coats and goggles.
