In maths this week we have been solving problems using our prior knowledge. We have been working in partners using trial and error and lots of brain power!
Today we had to calculate every number from 1 to 20 using only five 2s in every equation, no more and no less!
Look how hard we are working to solve this problem. We got every number except for 17. Could you work it out? Ask a grown up at home if they could tackle this challenge!

The even numbers were quite easy, but I struggled with the odd numbers. However, my struggles seemed easy as pie when I got to 17!
This activity was really fun, but you needed to use your brain.
I found this challenge quite hard although I got up to number 17.
