On Thursday the Eagles has a fantastic day at the RAF museum. We explored the museum including the Historical Hangars and Bomber Commard Hall. We discovered aircraft, ground vehicles and the  uniforms worn by the Royal Air Force service men and Women.

In addition, we participated in a workshop centred around what it would be like for a child experiencing The Blitz. The classroom resembled the 1940’s including propaganda posters, gas masks, wooden tables and chairs, ink wells and much more. We also took refuge under our desks when we heard the warning signals of an impending raid.

Overall, we had a very enjoyable day and we added to our wealth of knowledge about the World Wars!
