On Monday 9th May, 26 lucky students attended the European Aquatic Championships. We attended the morning session and were lucky enough to see the Synchronised Swimming Free Solo competition. We saw athletes not only competing for the prize of the best athlete in Europe but also the opportunity of qualifying for the 2016 Rio Olympic Games.

That was a really cool trip although wanted to see tom Daley and diving 🙁 The last picture was like where’s Isabelle- all you could see was my hair!

I know Isabelle, I would have loved to have seen the diving as well. Maybe next time we will get the chance to see the diving. Did you see who won gold?

Wow what a day! I heard that you were the perfect ambassadors for our school while out! Well done year 5 ?

  6. Watching amazing swimmers in the water was terrific! I cannot imagine my doing all the unbelievable tricks they did! Just like Isabelle, I really wanted to see diving as well. It would be even better if there would be synchronised swimming.
Thank you for all the teachers who have brought us to the Olympic Park!
