Last Friday, 40  children  represented our school at the CSSA Cross Country at Parliament Hill.  26 schools from around the Camden area were in attendance seeing hundreds of keen runners compete for the long distance crown in their respective age groups.

As always our school did exceptionally well challenging all of the larger schools from around the area. The determination and perseverance shown by each and every  Rosary runner was outstanding and a reflection of their hard work and training leading up to the event. Overall the Rosary finished an outstanding 8th position .

A special congratulations goes to the following children who starred in their races finishing in the top 10.

Alex H (Year 4 Boys) 6th overall out of 189 runners

Romario (Year 4 Boys) 10th overall out of 189 runners

Che (Year 5 Boys) 6th overall out of 157 runners

Lacey (Year 6 Girls) 5th overall out of 119 runners

Lucas K (Year 6 Boys) 9th overall out of 151 runners

A special mention also goes to Princess, Joseph, Charlotte K, Leo S, Isabella and Savannah who all came in the top 20. An amazing effort!

A massive thank you also goes to  Mrs Hayter, Miss Oswell and Mr Lovett for managing the team and cheering on our runners all day.

Here are some shots from throughout the day…
