To commemorate the 75th Anniversary of the Holocaust we visited the South Hampstead Synagogue. Here we participated in an interactive workshop following the journey of a young Jewish boy (Leo) living in Berlin in the 1930s. Using first hand testimonials, we got a real sense of what life would have been like back then. We then went into the Synagogue and had a talk from the Rabbi all about the Jewish faith and the important symbols in the Synagogue.

What an important and moving visit to somewhere so sacred. We are privileged to have been invited here and I know you were all so well behaved and respectful.
It is incredibly important for us all to remember the horrors of the Holocaust so that we may live with tolerance and love for all and never allow anything like that to happen again.
