We’ve had such a busy week at the Rosary this week. Take a look at some of some of what we’ve been doing!
To start with we learnt the story of Gregory Cool with our ‘Talk for writing’ actions and we then story boarded the whole story! We made sure we included time conjunctions and key words from the story. This helped us to be able to write our very own versions on Thursday and Friday!
On Thursday we learnt about maps and keys in Geography. We had to complete a key for our school playground!
In maths this week we have been learning about place value. Towards the end of the week we moved onto comparing numbers using the greater than, less than and equal to symbols.
On Friday it was Number Day!!! We played games like’ follow my finger’ and we played new games which were all about estimating.
We also had a winner for best dressed on Number Day. J also managed to show off her estimating skills in our new games.
