Snowy Owls visited the RAF Museum

As part of our work on World War 2 (Keep Calm and Carry On), we visited the RAF Museum in Collindale. We had an immersive classroom experience and were taken back in time to the Blitz! We experienced what life was like for school children, during World War 2 and even had to be evacuated!

We also saw some authentic RAF fighter planes, which were used in World War 2 from both sides. We had a fantastic time and it really embedded our understanding of the impact of the Second World War.

  1. I loved this experience! The planes were gigantic and the classroom looked a lot like a 1940 class. I had such a wonderful time!
