Good morning Ducklings,
I hope you all had a lovely weekend. Did you celebrate VE day at home? If so I would love to see what you did. Send me some photos and I can share then with everyone at the Rosary. I saw lot’s of people on my street decorate their houses in red, white and blue and made special posters and decorations.
You have all been doing such as fantastic job at being an Eco-Warrior by recycling and reusing different materials around the house. We were so impressed with your thank you posters for our refuse collectors, Oliver’s mum came up with the fabulous idea of sending them into Veolia who deliver street cleansing, recycling and waste services for Camden residents. We will make them so happy when they see all our fantastic posters of thanks.
This week we are going to look at how we can be an Eco-Warrior and speak up for our endangered animals around the world.
Watch this video Endangered Animals to find out more information.
Our story of this week is Oi! Get Off our train by John Burmingham as it introduces us to lot’s of animals that are endangered in our world.
We will be doing some research about endangered animals this week so here is some useful websites to help you.
Looking for some great daily workouts! Don’t forget to check out Andy’s Wild Workouts . This one looks at Rainforests which are important but some animals are losing their habitats because they are being cut down. Let’s show our support by getting up and active with this workout!
This week you could start thinking about an art project to show your love for your favourite endangered animal. What could you use around the house?
As we are in the Month of Mary let’s write a thank you prayer to Mary or you could make a special alter at home or in your garden. For more activites check out our May is the Month of Mary news page.
