Good morning everyone!
We hope you had a lovely weekend and are ready for our last week of the year! Of course, this isn’t the year we all had planned but we are so proud of how you have all coped in these unprecedented times. You have all worked so hard to keep your learning alive from home and we will be forever grateful that you have been so committed. Listen to the song below and sing along! We are so proud of our school.
In September, you will be making the transition to Reception and we know that you are going to love it! This week, we won’t be setting any tasks on Evidence Me but we would like you to complete a little project. Please can you make a poster that tells your new teacher all about you! What facts are there about yourself that you would love them to know? You can include photographs of you and your family/friends, your own drawings, leaflets from your favourite outings, a wrapper from your favourite food/drink, your favourite animal, sport or activity. There are so many things you could show, we just want them to know all about you from your own words! Get creative! Look at the examples below for some inspiration.
Finally, give yourselves a massive pat on the back (and your adults!) because you all deserve it. We can see the light at the end of tunnel and you have all done your part to keep our country and each other safe. Thank you to each and everyone of you.
We miss you all and are looking forward to seeing you ready and raring to go into Reception in September.
